Little Miss Obvious - CD Review
The Tampa Tribune

Tampa area singer-songwriter Lorna Bracewell shows growing maturity -- musical and lyrical -- on her latest disc.

Her acoustic guitar provides the musical grounding for all eight tracks. But half are fleshed out with a full band and some thoughtful production touches, particularly on "It's Alright."

That song also shows Bracewell's lyrical strengths. Though just out of her teens, Bracewell avoids cliches or easy answers in this tale of a one-night stand's emotional repercussions.

"No Matter What I Do" and "One Candle Light" are charming love songs, and the disc closes with a very personal take on "Amazing Grace."
